Staying on message during a media interview

This two-hour online workshop with the Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative and partners was for housing rights and Black leaders. BMSG provided a brief introduction to put media interviews in the context of an overall media advocacy strategy. Participants learned tools to prepare for a media interview, including an overview of what reporters are looking for when working on a story, and engaged in a series of hands-on exercises to practice interviewing skills and receive feedback.
