More than a message: Using strategic communication to support health & racial equity

BMSG’s head researcher, Pamela Mejia, delivered a presentation to REACH grantees to help them learn how an overall strategy and message strategy can work together to support racial and health equity work. She also discussed the political and cultural context for messaging, the importance of selecting messengers strategically, and ways to reframe messages to focus on institutional, rather than solely individual, accountability.
