Introduction to media advocacy and strategic communications

In two separate trainings with San Francisco State University public health graduate students, BMSG staff covered the fundamentals of media advocacy and strategic communications. Students applied training materials to class work on public health topics ranging from domestic abuse to youth mental health. Students also had the opportunity to practice delivering the messages they created in highly engaging mock interview activities.
