At the 2019 annual Childhood Obesity Conference in Anaheim, California, BMSG Director Lori Dorfman presented a poster detailing ways the food and beverage industry targets youth of color with unhealthy products. As the poster notes, this is a health equity issue that most affects the very communities that have been hardest hit by diabetes, obesity, and other nutrition-related conditions.
