Strategic communication planning and media advocacy training with United Against Overdose

In this virtual two-part strategic communication planning and media advocacy training, United Against Overdose worked with the BMSG staff to chart a path forward to expand overdose services and use a harm reduction approach in Spanish and Mayan-speaking communities. This coalition was composed of leaders from UC Santa Cruz, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, NHC, and the DOPE project leaders all working hand in hand to bring much-needed resources to groups in the Bay Area. The training included hands-on activities designed to prepare coalition members to activate allies, craft compelling messages, and above all else be strategic.
