Introduction of media advocacy and strategic communications with Touro University

BMSG facilitated an introductory training on media advocacy and strategic communications for Touro University MPH students, mostly in the physician assistant field. The training explored how students can leverage their position as health care professionals to serve as powerful spokespersons and/or allies for advocacy campaigns, and how to address public health issues with an upstream perspective that highlights root causes and structural solutions.
